By the numbers the average annual wage for sales came in at $43,708.00. This number came about through adding
all of the wages paid to sales including commissions and bonuses together then dividing the total by the number of
respondents.
There were a handful of companies that compensated sales in the $100,000 range which pushed the number up.
After this exercise we took another look at the numbers electing to remove the highest and the lowest wages. Once
completing the task we came up with a number we believe to be more reflective of an industry average. The all
inclusive average wage earned by sales is $32,105.00.
